"Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair..." -Susan Polis Shutz

A braid highlighted in pretty spring flowers
Lots and lots of curls!
A fishtail braid in a beautiful auburn color
Hibiscus flowers add a little aloha to a beautiful updo
A crown of roses
French braid
Classy ponytail
Awesome! I bet it took a long time to do this braid. I think it is several fishtail braids combined in one regular braid
Ideally, this is how I wished my hair looked, brunette of course
Fiery red locks in a simple ponytail
A headband of petite pink roses
A beautiful lace bow

We played Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto no. 2 my sophomore year of college. It was my favorite piece we played. This is my favorite movement from the concerto.

"A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence." -Leopold Stokowski

Last night was my last performance in the Cal Poly Symphony. I realize I have already made a post about my love of the violin, but this is for all the years I have been performing.
"The symbol of an orchestra, the violin has a well deserved first place among the string instruments and not only those but among musical instruments in general. As the old saying reveals" the older the violin, the sweeter the music", the concept is not far from the truth, on the contrary it is indeed confirmed that the older violins do have an even better sound."

"I started in elementary school. I tried clarinet first since my mom had played it but I didn't like it. When I tried the violin it was like, 'Wow, this is fun.' It's like my passion. I love playing the violin."-Eric Vargas

"The raw wood of a sawed off tree was turned, stripped, and varnished into a traveling violin that could only squeal in carnival colors."-Grace Slick
"She is a delightful and witty woman who can make her violin cry, whisper, sing and put chills up and down your spine."-Donna Goggin
"Love is like a violin. The music may stop now and then, but the strings remain forever."-June Masters Bacher
"I occasionally play works by contemporary composers and for two reasons. First to discourage the composer from writing any more and secondly to remind myself how much I appreciate Beethoven."-Jascha Heifetz
"Violin playing is a physical art with great traditions behind it."-Vanessa Mae
"Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on."
-Samuel Butler
"If we were all determined to play the first violin we should never have an ensemble. therefore, respect every musician in his proper place."-Robert Schumann
"If you take a violin, you can make it sound 50 different ways. Not just pizzicato and played by the bow, but ponticello, and harmonics, and tremolos. If you take an oboe and play it, there's about one way you can make it sound: like an oboe."-John Corigliano
"A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and a violin; what else does a man need to be happy?"
-Albert Einstein

"Between every two pines is a doorway to a new world." ~John Muir

Come run the hidden pine trail of the forest!
Yosemite Valley, the crown jewel of national parks in California
Tall pines covered in ivy
Beautiful lighting among the majestic trees
Sunrise in the forest
Interesting perspective of a owl in a tree
Beautiful sunrise over a forest covered canyon
There is no better place for clearing your mind then in the forest. It is where I do my best contemplating
This looks like the NID trails near my house
Lovely picture, good quote!
These trees remind me of Ents from The Lord of the Rings
Gorgeous view, a winter wonderland
A beautiful lake in the forest, there is no where else I rather be than there
So Cute!

People who belong to Siamese cats must make up their minds to do a good deal of waiting upon them." - Compton Mackenzie

I will love you if you feed me....or at least until you feed me
Precious little furball
Looks just like my Frosty when he was a baby...if only they could stay that way!
Sweet baby kitten
This cat is hungry for affection
How the sophisticated cat drinks her milk
Sapphire blue eyes
Don't you stick that tongue out at me!
We are Siamese if you please!

"There is no greater happiness than having you... and no greater bliss than sharing this life with you."

I wanted to take a walk somewhere pretty, so Scott and I went to Montana de Oro and walked along one of the trails
I saw two bunnies on the walk, unfortunately Scott didn't see either of them cause he was too far behind me
We kept seeing the oddest tracts in the sand and couldn't figure out what could have made them, I finally found the culprit!
This what the beach at the end of the trail looked like
We walked along the beach for quite a distance
The ocean looked beautiful! And there is a seagull! Scott is now paranoid of them because one pooped on his head
We went as far as we could go on the beach and then sat and watched the sun over the ocean
We didn't want to walk all the way back, but finding another way back to the road was tricky because there were cliffs above the beach
We found a way, but then had to hike almost 2 miles back to the car!
On Sunday night, Scott took me to Red Lobster! Their biscuits were amazing!
I got the Crab Linguini Alfredo, it was delicious
They had a tank with lobsters in it, I felt sorry for them, sorry that they were so tasty
I had a glass of Chardonnay with my dinner, prefect compliment!
